IWD 2023: Canberra Lunch

Join us for International Women’s Day (IWD) 2023 as we celebrate under the official theme, Cracking the Code: Innovation for a gender equal future.

In 2023, our pre-eminent fundraising events will be held on Friday 3 March 2023, where we’ll bring together leaders and changemakers who are redefining innovation – creating new social, economic and cultural codes for a gender equal future, and help us raise much needed funds to accelerate gender equality.

Formalities: Start at 12:00 pm sharp, and finish at 2:30 pm

This IWD we are thrilled to feature an exclusive headline presentation from the ‘me too.’ movement activists Tarana Burke and Alyssa Milano.

This exclusive segment will feature an in-depth interview with Tarana Burke, founder of the ‘me too.’ movement and Australian Walkley Award winning journalist, and activist in her own right, Tracey Spicer AM.

Alyssa Milano, fearless activist, Hollywood actor and producer will deliver a personal presentation to introduce this powerful segment, streamed into the room of all five IWD fundraising events and online via the live virtual hub.
