The Western Sydney International Women’s Day Breakfast has been celebrated in Parramatta for the last 26 years. The event acknowledges the achievements of women both locally, nationally and internationally. The event attracts business and professional attendees from the diverse Western Sydney region as well as a long standing large group of students and teachers from local schools. Funds raised from this year’s Breakfast will go to UN Women Australia and The Sanctuary-The Hills Women’s Shelter.

Last year the WSIWD Breakfast hosted the inaugural Zonta International Young Woman in Public Affairs Award which drew a number of entries from local schools, and highlighted the high level of applicants applying to win this award and hopefully be able to move through to the International Award.
