Olga Charity Film Screening

2013. A 15-year-old gymnast from Ukraine is torn between Switzerland – where she is training for the European Championship in preparation for the Olympics – and Kiev, where her mother works as a journalist, reporting on Euromaidan.

On 3 May 2023, OLGA will be screened nationally for one night only in support of UN Women Australia’s Ukraine Emergency Appeal.

Through our Ukraine Emergency Appeal, UN Women Australia is committed to supporting the people of Ukraine, especially women and girls, at this time of greatest need. In Moldova and Ukraine, UN Women Australia is supporting women’s civil society organisations that support war-affected populations, as well as essential services for refugee women and girls.

$6.50 from every ticket sold, will be donated to the Ukraine Emergency Appeal.

Check your local cinema for session times and tickets. See the full list of participating cinemas here
