The 14th Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) and Mayors’ Forum is returning to Brisbane, Australia from 11-13 October 2023, under the overarching theme of ‘Shaping Cities for our Future.’
Founded in 1996, the APCS has become the signature event for those at the forefront of cities and is amongst the largest and most diverse gatherings of mayors and delegates from across the region.
Over three days, more than 1000 city leaders and urban leaders and innovators, including mayors, policymakers, business and industry leaders, leading academics, emerging businesses and young professionals from across the world will gather at the 2023APCS in Brisbane. The 2023APCS program will offer a diverse range of world-class speakers from across the region, with case studies from a range of sectors, fresh insights and world-changing ideas.

The city-shifting focus of the APCS draws masses from all over the world to embrace reinvention, connect and catapult projects and conversations internationally. In 2019, more than 1,400 delegates, including 83 mayors and deputy mayors, attended the APCS, representing a population of 405 million. As part of the Major Project Announcement Briefings, $4.2 billion (AUD) of procurement-ready city projects were presented.
