We express sincere thanks to our dedicated volunteer Chapters, whose invaluable support enables us to advance gender equality initiatives across the country and raise vital funds to continue UN Women’s work around the world. 

The Brisbane Chapter hosted a successful dinner at social enterprise restaurant, Mu’ooz, raising over $3,000 for our Sudan Emergency Appeal. In Sydney, our Chapter engaged in a range of fundraising activities, such as the ‘Night of Clay with UNWA’ and a special charity screening of Barbie, along with promoting the work of UN Women at the Australian Women’s Film Festival and the Women in Leadership Summit. Meanwhile, our Canberra Chapter fostered community engagement through a Yoga event featuring an insightful panel discussion on sustainability and the publication of ‘This Is Us’, a magazine celebrating local women pushing boundaries in their field.
