Australian National Committee for UN Women welcomes partnership with PwC Australia

The Australian National Committee for UN Women is delighted to announce PwC Australia as a partner in a joint effort to promote gender equality.

Welcoming the partnership, PwC’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Marcus Laithwaite, said “We’re delighted to support the great work the Australian National Committee for UN Women does to promote equality for women all over Australia. This partnership is a wonderful opportunity for PwC to learn from those at the forefront of efforts to build a more equal society, which will inform our own strategy to promote diversity and inclusion in our workforce.”

“We share the values and priorities of the Australian National Committee for UN Women – economic empowerment through access to decent work and the promotion of women to leadership roles – and look forward to working with them to promote these values over the year ahead.”

Australian National Committee for UN Women’s Executive Director, Julie McKay, said “We collaborate with companies who have demonstrated a commitment to accelerating gender equality in their workforce and business practices. PwC Australia has some exciting initiatives planned in this arena and we are delighted to have the opportunity to work with them again to advance our shared goals.”
