In 2025, UN Women Australia launched the Safe. Everywhere. Always. Leadership Trek as part of the Safe. Everywhere. Always. campaign. A group of leaders with a passion for gender equality were invited to come together to raise funds to help eliminate violence against women and girls in Australia and around the globe. 

Over the two-day trip, they had meaningful discussions and conversations about gender equality, and the part that they can play in achieving it. The group was joined by UN Women Australia CEO, Simone Clarke, and award-winning journalist, Tracey Spicer AM.

Together, they climbed Mount Kosciuszko overnight to watch the sunrise from the summit and as a group, they raised over $40,000.
