Event Details

The interactive virtual hub provides you with access to our full IWD 2021 program of speakers. You can watch the headline speakers in the main auditorium, move between virtual rooms streaming the local live events, immerse yourself in UN Women stories and projects, or make a life-changing donation.

The IWD presentations can be watched live or for up to a week post event (subject to approvals from our speakers).

Formal proceedings will be no more than 2 hours. We have allowed for registration time in the published event timings. Please refer to the our event pages for the timings of the events in each city.

We will deliver an exciting line-up of keynote speakers, led by a well-respected MC. Our line- up is continually evolving as we confirm new international and local presenters. Please refer to the website for the latest information.

Yes, you will be required to check in on arrival due to current COVID-19 regulations. Please have your ticket barcode ready for scanning (either printed or on your phone). You will be told your table number as you check-in. Our friendly volunteers will be on hand to provide assistance and direct you to your table.

Dress code is smart casual for the event.

The events’ content will be available to access via the hub for one week after the event. This will be subject to speaker permissions.

All events will include two courses. For the lunches a drink will be served on arrival and we will then be operating a cash bar.

Keep in mind it can take up to three business days for your membership to be processed (and tickets and tables are selling fast!) so the best way to guarantee your table or ticket is to book now. You can either add your name to the waitlist or you can buy tickets to the virtual event.

The number of guests per table is dependent on current state and venue restrictions. As of 11 January 2021, these are:

If you purchase a table you will be advised if these numbers change.

 

As you would if you were buying tickets to the theatre, we recommend that you buy your tickets as a group to guarantee seats together. Please nominate someone to process the registration and that she/he has all attendee details prior to booking. This will ensure the booking appears in our system as one transaction and ensures you will all be seated together. If you need to add guests after the transaction has been processed please contact:  [email protected]

Ticket sales will close on Thursday 25 February, unless sold out prior.

The preferred way to purchase tickets and to secure a table is to book online with a credit card, which guarantees your ticket/table selection immediately. We strongly encourage payment by credit card due to the popularity of the event as tables sell out quickly. Please click here to book online.

Should you wish to pay via EFT and require an invoice, we are able to arrange this separately for you.  Please contact [email protected].  Note that payment terms for the invoice are strictly 7 days. The invoice does not confirm your table until payment has been made. If payment is not received within the 7 day terms, the table may be returned for sale and the invoice cancelled.

Corporate tables receive:

  • Table with preferential placement
  • Company logo displayed on table (A4 Laminated sign)
  • Company logo on PPT presentation shown on large screens throughout event
  • A way to demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to women, both within your organisation and to your customers, clients and key stakeholders more broadly
  • 10 tickets to the virtual platform (worth $600)

Premium tables receive:

  • Table with VIP placement
  • Company logo displayed on table (A4 Laminated sign)
  • Company logo on PPT presentation shown on large screens throughout event
  • A way to demonstrate your organisation’s commitment to women, both within your organisation and to your customers, clients and key stakeholders more broadly
  • A UN Women Australia social media mention
  • 20 tickets to the virtual platform (worth $1,200)

If you don’t have your guest details, you are able to proceed with the main booking contact information only, to complete the purchase. You will receive a confirmation email once booked with a unique token to log into your booking on Humanitix, our event ticketing website, which will enable you to amend those details when you have more information.

Due to COVID-19 regulations we will need all guest details by Thursday 25 February.  Providing these details will facilitate a smooth registration process. Any guests who are not fully registered by this date will have to provide their details when they arrive at the event, which may result in queues. We will also be unable to cater for special dietary requirements. 

We are not offering early bird pricing this year due to the limited venue numbers and reduced sales period.

Individual ticket holders will be emailed a unique link to access the virtual event 48 hours prior. If you purchased multiple virtual tickets, you must you must register the details for each person attending the virtual event by Thursday 25 February.

Each registration triggers a unique link so please do not share your confirmation email. If your ticket is forwarded to others, only the first person to use it will be granted access so you may be blocked and will not be able to gain access on event day.

Other Questions

Attendee safety is a priority at our live events. We will produce COVID-safe plans for all of the live events to ensure they meet state regulations. These can be found in each of the city event pages on the website. You will be kept informed of any updates should new restrictions arise.

The best way to upload your company logo is to follow the ‘edit your order’ link from the confirmation email you would have received when you purchased tickets. This will allow you to view your order and upload your logo.

We ask that you upload a high resolution .jpeg image logo at least 300dpi on a white background via your online account by the Thursday 25 February.
