What’s involved?

Successful applicants are required to intern for a minimum of two days a week at the UN Women NC’s office in Canberra. Internships are unpaid, and vary in length from 3 to 6 months.

Where applicants are students, we encourage you to explore opportunities to gain course credit for your internship where possible.

When are internships available?

UN Women NC Australia generally offers 3 intakes every year for internships. This may be subject to change.

How do I apply?

To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter addressing the key selection criteria to iwd@unwomen.org.au. All applicants must specify which internship they are applying for. Without this information, applications will not be processed.
