UN Women National Committee (NC) Australia offers a competitive internship program, giving interns the chance to engage with not-for-profit professionals, grow their skills, learn about gender equality and gain extensive experience.
Internships are advertised throughout the year. Applications will not be accepted outside intake periods.
We currently have no internships open.
Who can apply?
Internships are open to all qualified university or TAFE students and graduates.
To be eligible, you must be a member of UN Women NC (Membership for students costs $35 annually) You can become a member here
Successful applicants are required to intern for a minimum of two days a week at the UN Women NC’s office in Canberra. Internships are unpaid, and vary in length from 3 to 6 months.

Where applicants are students, we encourage you to explore opportunities to gain course credit for your internship where possible.
When are internships available?
UN Women NC Australia generally offers 3 intakes every year for internships. This may be subject to change.
