UN Women National Committee (NC) Australia offers a competitive internship program, giving interns the chance to engage with not-for-profit professionals, grow their skills, learn about gender equality and gain extensive experience.
Internships are advertised periodically throughout the year. Applications received outside of these calls for application, will not be considered.
We currently have two opportunities open for application:

- Research Intern

Who can apply?
Internships are open to all qualified university or TAFE students and graduates.
To be eligible, you must be a member of UN Women NC (Membership for students costs $35 annually). Click here to become a member.
Successful applicants are required to intern for a minimum of two days a week (unless otherwise specified) at UN Women NC’s office in Canberra.
All internships are unpaid and vary in length from 3 to 6 months.
Internship roles vary depending on the skills and experience of the intern and current projects being undertaken by UN Women NC. Applicants should be flexible and willing to learn on the job.

All applicants must specify which internship they are applying for. Without this information, applications will not be processed.
